Cafe digital menu
A single-file digital menu with QR ordering per table and a built-in admin panel — one HTML file that runs from a link or straight off a disk.
Context
A sample for cafe owners who want to replace the printed menu with a QR on the table. Deliberately kept to one file with no build step, so the whole thing can be handed over and hosted anywhere.
The problem
A menu has to be scanned, read and ordered from in under a minute, on any phone, often on weak cafe Wi-Fi. Browser pop-ups, slow loads and a menu that cannot be edited by the owner all get in the way.
What TAZ did
Sixteen items across four categories with search, category tabs and best-seller and vegetarian quick filters. Tapping an item opens a quick view with a quantity stepper; the cart checks out to a confirmation with an order number, and in-page toasts replace every browser pop-up. A link scanned with a table number in it shows that table in the header and on the confirmation, so each table's QR can carry its own number. The admin panel edits items in place and generates a downloadable QR for any table in the browser, with no external QR service.
Where it stands
Live, with the admin panel open for anyone to try. Menu items, prices and photos are sample content and the name is a placeholder — the demo shows the interface, not a real cafe.
